Cop Out
Saw this movie over the weekend. Was a good time pass and would recommend to watch once... It is a nice hillarious movie with a little action. Tracy Morgan has done well.. Willis has done his part well as a Cop Dad trying to make his daughters' wedding a success. Favourite part : Time with the Thug in the car
Computing devices and Field of Education.
The other day I visited a school as part of my Customer Interaction Program. The visit provided some good insights into the usage of the products I was working on. But one thing that fascinated me is the laptop and computer presence among the people. Computing devices have come a long way from the time they were introduced. They seem to be no more a way for computing alone rather a way to expedite your daily work and keep onself organized and informed. They are like the TV and Projectors in the school, a medium to disseminate information, a mode of delivery.. The more these devices are made userfriendly and reachable, the more they seem to impact the education domain. To the teachers, these are no more "A Device" in the computer field, but a device in their daily life. I am not able to gauge the postive impact it has on their productivity but it is significant. Just think about it, organize stuff, prepare teaching materials, share notes, handling evaluations, administering test, communicating etc all from a single device. The availability of good number of softwares is another boost for them to adapt. It is nice to see that at Grass root level, adoption of these devices is significant and is growing. Grad Schools and Colleges have adopted them as well.

2012
An okay movie. I liked it just for the special effects and the way they had imagined things would fall out on the dooms day. Every scene seemed to be supported by scientific reasoning. But then one needs to digest the fact that a family gets to escape the whole trauma on a small flight. Noahs Ark like ships towards the climax was a different thought. The movie was fast paced trying to show too many happenings. Some of the scenes have been shown as being done in India and China too. The wide tidal waves splashing against the Himalayas is an good scene. My favourite was the Volcanic Eruption at Yellow Stone National Park.
The 2012 according to the Mayan Calander is when the end of world would occur. There have been theories around it though main stream scholars have not agreed to any of these. Read more about this at

Friendship: A matter of Time....
A sad side to any relationship, particularly friendship is when people have to stay away from one another geographically... It is painful and heart breaking.. It is as if you are parting away with part of yourself... It becomes even more distressing when it is uncertain as to when they would get to see one another gain... The advent of communication and technology has to some extent reduced this separation and allows friends to stay in touch... but then the physical presence has no perfect substitution....
In this world, staying together and meeting all the worldly needs is difficult and so one at various occasions has to mention BYE to his friends... Life cannot tick on friendship; They say it runs on money.... When trying to sooth someone, when parting, I always give this analogy to make light of things...
Consider a analog watch/clock with its minute and hour hands...The two hands stand for the two friends an the clock in entirety for their friendship... The two hands run around meeting each other at some points in time... They do not stay together... If they do stay together always, the clock is dysfunctional and so is their friendship... So they go around and around.. ensuring the a truly functioning relationship...Another notable point is, though the outer edges of the hands end up only meeting for a fraction of time at regular intervals; the inner edges of the hands are always together... translating to that they are always close to one another hearts always, No matter the miles separating them ...
So don't feel bad to say bye to your friends... It is all for the betterment of each other...

CopyCats in Indian Film Industry: Inspiration
Offlate we seem to get accustomed to this idea of lifting an Idea or a tune from different film in a new film that is being produced... Somehow music directors seem to be heading the list in their deperate act to provide entertainment.. They never do accept that they had indeed copied the tune or the lyrics, they simply put it as "I got the Inspiration"... Wow what a way to put it... By doing this cut copy paste, they save a lot of energy and are sure of the success of the tested tunes... One of my friend pointed out this link which tries to bring to light this sort of shameless plagriasim. I am deeply hurt to see the names of some the famous music directors....

As far as film industry is concerned, this sort of plagriasim is not limited to Music Field alone.. The opening lines of a famous Bachan Movie by a famous Dirctor Clearly Stated that "Like Anyone he was inspired by GodFather"... Govinda.. Govinda....Govinda...Desi Matrix with Akshay hitting 100, Vikram hitting 300 and Rajini hitting 1000 is releasing everyday...
With all these happening, the industry is sure falling short of a best delivery...

Seven Blunders of the World
I am not talking about the any Architectural Marvel.. The Seven blunder of the World are anti-priniciples that have been suggested by Mahatma Gandhi.. Some how these impressed me very much...
